Event Description

The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School is registering for Spring 2010 classes. Our new catalog is now online and will be in the mail in early January. Registration for English as a Second Language and GED Preparation classes will be on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The school is offering discounted fees until Feb. 10 for some classes in the Active Mind, Computers & Technology, and Languages sections.

The Adult School has more than 150 courses on tap for this spring, everything from the culinary, creative and performing arts, to financial advice and computers. You can learn a new language or a new dance step. If you ever wanted to take an Adult School class, now is the time!

We're also offering ways to help you stay and get fit this winter. Register online or call (973) 378-7620 to enroll in Winter Intersession fitness classes: Zumba, Belly Dancing and Jazzercise. These classes are listed at the end of the Recreation & Fitness category. Belly Dancing (Course 0405), Jazzercise (Course 0406) and Zumba (Course 0407).
